Harp earns NEO postgraduate scholarship award

SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio -- Notre Dame senior center Brian Harp has earned a postgraduate scholarship from the Northeast Ohio Chapter of the National Football Foundation. (NFF Release)
Harp was honored at the Cleveland Touchdown Club Charities' 26th annual scholar athlete awards banquet, which took place on Tuesday night, at the LaCenter Banquet Facility in Westlake.
The Minerva, Ohio, native, was an integral part of the Notre Dame offensive line. A team captain and the leader of NDC's front five, he helped to pave the way for an NDC offense that set several program records over the past two seasons.
Harp was one of 12 players to receive this honor at the banquet this season. In order to qualify, the student-athlete must be a senior looking to pursue postgraduate studies with a minimum, cumulative 3.0 grade point average.
Harp is a biology major, and has a 3.2 cumulative GPA.
